Pre-Competitive Programs

Also known as developmental or “devo” programs, Black Diamond has pre-competitive programs in women’s artistic gymnastics, men’s and women’s tumbling and trampoline (TnT) and aerial skiing (Aer Devo). Registration for these classes is by invitation only. Students wishing to be considered for any of Black Diamond’s pre-competitive programs may schedule an evaluation with the appropriate department at the front office.

Gymnastics	Mighty Mites, Bronze, Silver & Gold
Black Diamond is known for its attention to detail and strong basics. In addition to an all-inclusive curriculum, students on this track will be exposed to in-house “competition” and exhibitions
TnT	Mighty Mites, Dynamites
Black Diamond has qualified over 25 athletes to the national championships over the last 5 years. These athletes are and were products of the TnT developmental program. This is only possible in a curriculum with emphasis on strength, flexibility and proper skill progression

Black Diamond has developed a program to produce world class aerial skiers. Nobody else in the country is doing what we’re doing with young athletes (ages 6-12 years). The program has been complimented by our national aerial ski team coaching staff. The curriculum is comprised of basic gymnastics, strength and flexibility as well as trampoline, water ramp (summer) and on-snow training.
